Concrete Petrography
ASTM C856 — Standard Practice for Petrographic Examination of Hardened Concrete — assess the mix design, pore system, aggregates, surface profile, and cohesive integrity of hardened concrete. This method is also necessary to diagnosis deleterious conditions such as ASR, NSAR, and ACR.
